Hoquiam United Methodist Church attempts to live out the slogan “Open Doors, Open Hearts and Open Minds” in every sense of the word. Greeters welcome the congregation and visitors at the door each Sunday. All members are encouraged to participate and be involved in the welcoming process.

All are invited to a fellowship time after worship each Sunday. People are able to meet and visit over coffee, punch, and snacks. Church members provide the refreshments on a schedule that includes all members that are able to participate. We do these things to ensure that all who come through our doors feel welcome and are encouraged to become actively involved in doing God’s work here on earth.

Prayer

Do you or someone you know need prayer? We have a prayer chain at HUMC. If you are not familiar with a prayer chain, it is a network of your sisters and brothers in Christ who will pray for your needs- be they physical, mental, or    spiritual.
